With life across the country returning to normal, this year is going to be a great time to load the family up into that flashy luxury SUV and hit the town for some good, old-fashioned Easter festivities. Whether you’re going on a family Easter egg hunt in Hialeah or just looking to pose with the famous bunny himself, there’s no shortage of events in South Florida.
We’re set for some warm temperatures and sunny skies this April, so get ready for some Easter egg hunts, Miami!
1. City of Sunrise’s Royal Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 9th 2022, 10am to 1pmWhere: Sunrise Sportsplex, 9101 NW 50th Street, Sunrise, FL 33351

2. City of Hialeah’s Easter Eggstravaganza
When: Saturday, April 16th 2022, 10am to 3pmWhere: Milander Park, 4700 Palm Avenue, Hialeah, FL 33012
If you’re looking for something for everyone, look no further. Hialeah’s Eggstravaganza boasts one of the biggest Easter events in the state, with a field of more than 50,000 eggs for the whole family to hunt down—and that’s just the main event. There will also be live music, food and drink, rides and inflatable slides, and even photo ops with the Easter Bunny.
It’s one of the best ways to spend a balmy weekend morning with the whole family, and all-access wristbands will only run you $15. Make sure you show up to this Hialeah Easter egg hunt with plenty of time so you don’t miss anything!
3. Dadeland Mall Bunny Photo Experience
When: Through April 16th 2022, until 7pmWhere: Dadeland Mall, 7535 N Kendall Drive, Miami, FL 33156
The time-honored tradition of posing with The Big Guy is alive and well in Miami, complete with multiple professional photo packages to capture the spirit of the holiday exactly the way you want. Reservations aren’t required, but the Easter Bunny is a pretty busy guy this time of the year, so they’re definitely encouraged!

4. Zoo Miami’s Egg-Venture
When: Through April 17th 2022, 10am to 4pmWhere: Zoo Miami, 12400 SW 152 Street, Miami FL, 33177
This month-long Easter event near Miami Beach offers a fun-filled experience for kids of all ages. Simply pick the day you want to go, head on over to the Egg-Venture event page, and follow the instructions—you’re off on a quest to follow the clues, find and “scan” 12 eggs, and win your certificate of completion (plus a Springtastic Basket full of goodies).
This Easter scavenger hunt is a fantastic and festive new way to experience all that Zoo Miami has to offer.

5. Cozybunny: Easter Egg Hunt at Tropical Park
When: Sunday, April 17th, 2022, 1pm to 5pm
Where: Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th Street, Miami, FL 33155
This is the first-ever Cozybunny Egg Hunt, located at the spacious and beautiful Tropical Park in the heart of Olympia Heights. This Miami Easter event for families is free of charge and offers tons of entertainment options. Party favors are first-come, first-served, so make sure you RSVP online, or call the park office at (305) 553-3161.
