So, you want to purchase a Genesis vehicle. Have you looked the various models’ prices and features? Do you know which models fit your budget the best? It’s all right if you don’t know the answers to these questions just yet. We’ve created this pricing and features comparison to help you figure out which Genesis models fits your budget and offers the features you want in your luxury vehicle.
A Price Comparison for Current Genesis Models
The 2025 Genesis models’ starting MSRPs stack up like this:
- Genesis G70: $42,500
- Genesis G80: $57,100
- Genesis Electrified G80: $74,375
- Genesis G90: $89,700
- Genesis GV60: $52,350
- Genesis GV70: $46,200
- Genesis Electrified GV70: $66,950
- Genesis GV80: $58,200
- Genesis GV80 Coupe: $79,950
A good thing to know about Genesis models is that those with model names like G70, G80, etc. are sedans, while the models with names like GV60, GV70, etc. are SUVs. Both the sedans and the SUVs tend to escalate in price as the numbers in their model names increase, though there are exceptions (like the electric GV60 having a higher price than the internal combustion engine GV70).
Another thing you should know about these Genesis models (and most car models out there) is that each individual model has multiple trims, and each trim has its own starting MSRP. All the trims come together to create a range of prices. For example, the G70’s trims range in price from $42,500 to $57,450.
Al Genesis models come standard with a wealth of features, so you’ll get a great car if you only go with the most affordable Genesis. However, certain tech features, like the available Qi Wireless Charging pad, require an extra cost to add them but increase your Genesis’s convenience and comfort. The same is true for available interior and exterior features, such as certain paint colors, like the Burleigh Blue Matte paint color.
A Feature Comparison for Genesis Models
Now that we know the base line prices for the current Genesis models, let’s look at how their features vary and progress by trim on a couple of the models.
2025 Genesis G70
The G70 is a sleek, sophisticated sedan that comes in the following trims: the G70 2.5T RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive), 2.5T AWD (All-Wheel Drive), 2.5T Sport Prestige RWD, 2.5T Sport Prestige AWD, 3.3T Sport Advanced RWD, 3.3T Sport Advanced RWD, 3.3T Sport Prestige RWD, and the 3.3T Sport Prestige AWD. The lower-level trims come with leatherette seating surfaces, which progresses to leather seating surfaces on the mid-level trims and then turns into Nappa leather seating surfaces on the highest-level G70 trims. As you go up the trims, the seating materials get more sophisticated and luxurious. That’s something to consider as you browse through the Genesis models and consider each model’s trim levels.
2025 Genesis GV60

The GV60 is an all-electric Genesis SUV with just four trims: the GV60 Standard RWD, Standard AWD, Advanced AWD, and Performance AWD. What’s interesting about these trims levels is their EPA-estimated driving ranges between charging sessions (on a full battery, of course):
- GV60 Standard RWD: 294 miles
- GV60 Standard AWD: 264 miles
- GV60 Advanced AWD: 248 miles
- GV60 Performance AWD: 235 miles
As you can see, the GV60’s driving range decreases a bit as its trim levels increase. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, since the highest trim level still gets 235 miles of driving range between charging sessions. But it’s a good example of how we often think the higher trim levels are the best because they have lots of bells and whistles, but the lower trim levels certainly have their benefits. If you want an electrified Genesis SUV with a driving range of over 250 miles, one of the two Standard trims may be a better fit for you.
2025 Genesis GV80 Coupe
The Genesis GV80 Coupe is a crossover that has just two trims: the GV80 Coupe 3.5T AWD and 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD. Because it has just two trims, the lower trim has Nappa leather seating surfaces, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, and many other standard features that are usually only available on lower-level trims. However, because it has so many upscale standard features, the GV80 Coupe 3.5T AWD has a starting MSRP of $79,950, which is the second-highest starting MSRP for any base-level trim in the current Genesis lineup. So, if you want a base-level trim with the highest amount of standard luxury features, you may want to look at the higher-end models.
How Do You Budget for Your New Genesis Purchase?
