Power & Performance
At present, we know the 2026 GV70 will have two powertrain options. The first option is a 2.5L turbocharged, inline 4-cylinder engine that comes with All-Wheel Drive (AWD) and generates 300 horsepower. The second option is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine that has AWD and generates 375 horsepower. Both options bring a lot of power to this Genesis, and the AWD helps it tackle any terrain it meets.
Safety Features
The forthcoming GV70 will come with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including the following:
- Blind Spot Monitor
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
- Parking Distance Warning
- Rear Cross Traffic-Avoidance Assist
- Highway Drive Assist
- And Surround View Monitor.

Exterior Feature Upgrades
The newest version of the GV70 is receiving a few exterior upgrades that differentiate it from its predecessors. These upgrades include a bolder skid plate design, two-line headlamps with micro lens array (MLA) technology, extended air intake grilles, and newly redesigned 19” and 21” wheel options. All these exterior features contribute to the GV70’s robust stance and sporty appearance, which makes it stand out from previous versions of this SUV.
On top of these exterior features, the 2026 GV70 will feature nine exterior color options. These options include the new Ceres Blue, which is named after the dwarf planet Ceres, located between Mars and Jupiter. A tenth color, Bering Blue, a pale gray-blue inspired by the Bering Sea, will be available at a later date.
Interior Feature Upgrades
The 2026 Genesis GV70 has several interior upgrades that provide the interior with a high-tech sensibility. These upgrades include an all-new 27-inch OLED display that combines the instrument cluster and the updated infotainment system into a single horizontal layout. Other upgraded interior features include digital components like the Genesis Digital Key, Smart Key, Terrain Mode, and enhanced voice recognition controls. There’s also the new standard adjustable interior ambient lighting and available Bang & Olufsen surround sound system with Beosonic technology. All these features make the GV70’s interior stylish and luxurious.
Additionally, the 2026 Genesis GV70 will have four Nappa leather interior color options with new sport orange stitching. These options are led by Ultramarine Blue and offer great choices for Genesis customers.
